This is a question that has often baffled me. I mean, we are born naked; truly there is no state more natural than being naked. When I walk my dog she’s naked and no one seems to mind. Oh but she’s got fur. What about those weird Chinese crested dogs? They aren’t required to put on pants to leave the house.

At some point people just ran around naked and no one thought anything of it. Clothing was a method of protection, not a way to protect us from seeing each others naughty bits. Which makes me wonder why are they naughty? But that’s a different discussion for a different day.

So why are people who bare all vilified, mocked and scorned. Why can’t a woman, or a man for that matter, be comfortable and proud of their body without being immediately subjected to judgement and ridicule. She’s a slut, he’s a player, on and on it goes.

Are they jealous because she’s more comfortable with her body than they? Because they wish they had the guts to do what she does and maybe even have a little fun? Well, if that’s the case I don’t think the naked girl is the problem .

When there is respect and trust baring all can be a liberating experience. Throwing caution to the wind and stripping down your barriers, both literally and figuratively. Maybe what you’ve been fearing isn’t so bad as you thought. Maybe you’ll learn a little about yourself and what you are really capable of even without your costume. Because that’s what it is, whether your in a t-shirt, a suit, or a wonder women outfit its all just a costume we put on to create who we want to be, instead of taking a moment to just be us.
